The brief
A contact centre with a headcount that had to be seated on a set day. The date came from the client's own hiring, so it could not move.
What we did
Worked back from the date
The programme was built in reverse from move-in. Every trade was given a finish date rather than a duration.
Mocked up one bay
A single bay was built early and signed off. The rest of the floor was repetition rather than decision.
Kept a week in hand
The programme carried a week of float. It was never spent on scope, only on weather and deliveries.
Measured at handover
What held.
Three numbers the client agreed at the start, and the three we settled on at the end.
