The brief
A plant where the process equipment sets the building rather than the other way round. The layout had to settle around machinery that was still being specified.
What we did
Built the plan around the plant
Equipment envelopes and access routes were fixed first. The building was drawn to fit them.
Left tolerance where the specification was open
Where the machinery was undecided, the structure carries clearance instead of a guess.
Kept approvals in step with site
Statutory drawings go out against the same revision the site is building to.
