The brief
A workplace that also had to work as a demonstration floor. Machines move through parts of the plan, so the layout needed clear runs without turning the office into a warehouse.
What we did
Drew the machine paths first
Vehicle routes were set before desks. The office was planned around the runs rather than cut into afterwards.
Separated the loads
The demonstration floor sits on its own power and data distribution, so a fault there stays away from the office.
Left the ceiling open where it mattered
Services stay exposed over the demonstration area. Changing the rig does not mean taking a ceiling down.
